Big data, deep learning, AI, cloud computing are of increasing importance in many industries, ranging from precision medicine, legal affairs, FinTech among others.

Universities are challenged to help prepare students to be equipped with knowledge and skill sets for them to be effective workforce in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. While the demand for education in this area is increasing, there are not enough teachers to provide education. At KAIST the School of Computing has developed and introduced an innovative platform "Elice" to meet such needs.

This talk will provide the Elice's principles, applications, effectiveness and technology transfer to other institutions.
